DAISES DAISES EVERYWHERE

I work in a closed environment where we don’t have the luxury of fresh air coming in.  While talking with my co-workers we all had complaints about headaches, scratchy throats, and itchy skin and so I started to do some research.  I think this was totally relevant to ways we can make a healthier work environment with just a few added touches that are not only beneficial to us, they look great.  So here ya go……………………….

Improve your work environment and maybe even your performance with some plants in the office. Did you know that many plants – such as Gerber daisies, philodendrons, and peace lilies – absorb airborne pollutants? Plants also release moisture into the air, absorb heat and noise, and absorb and break down harmful substances. Each different plant has an affinity for different pollutants, so place more than one in the office and feel better about yourself and your work. As a rule of green thumb, try placing two or three plants in 8-inch or 10-inch pots for every 100 square feet of floor space.
